The consecrated meal first offered to God makes us immune to material defilement.
During an epidemic, we vaccinates people to make them immune to the germ. Likewise, when one takes food first offered to Lord Krishna, one can resist all attacks of material energy. He who always acts thus is called devotee of the Lord. In this way, the Krishna conscious being, who only eats food offered to God, can erase all the consequences of his bad relationship with matter and open the way to spiritual realization. part, those who do not continue to increase the volume of their culpable acts. They are thus preparing another body, like that of a dog or a pig, in which they will have to suffer the consequences of their sins. Material energy is the source of all contaminations, but whoever immunizes the food offered to Krishna escapes its attacks. Everyone else is a victim, without recourse.
Let us show our devotion to God by lovingly offering Him food.
The real goal of the offering is to show our love and devotion to Lord Krishna. The objects of the offering in themselves are only of secondary importance. However, if we offer to the Lord all kinds of food as well as fruits and flowers in quantity without having developed love for Him, without real devotion, He will not accept these offerings.
No one can buy God. Our attempts at corruption have no effect on Him, such is His greatness. He lacks nothing, so what do we have to offer Him?
He finds his fullness in Himself, everything comes from Him.
In truth, we can only offer Him our love, our totality devotion, and our gratitude. For all that is offered to Krishna with love and affection, God can offer millions of times more, materially as well as spiritually. The fundamental principle is the exchange of love.
The Lord specifies to us: Whatever you do, what you eat, what you sacrifice and what you give, whatever austerity you practice, be it to offer it to Me.
Yes animals are sensitive and they suffer like human beings. We must take care of them, and protect them.
Animal torturers have hearts of stone. Some scoundrels argue that animals are soulless or somehow callous like stones. This is how they justify themselves by saying that there is nothing wrong with killing them, because they are callous and do not suffer. No logic and no philosophy can have a hold on them. They continue to use their slaughterhouses and go hunting.
