It is extremely difficult to seeing the universal form of Krishna, a favor which is not given to everyone, but even greater is the difficulty one experiences in knowing his personal two-armed form.

Happy are those who respect and apply the regulatory principles, who remain faithful to spiritual vegetarianism and who do not eat meat, fish and eggs, for they are without sin, and walk on the pure path. Let them surrender themselves to Krishna, serve him with love and devotion, and hum the song of the Holy Names of Krishna, and the Lord will reveal himself to them.

Lord Krishna says: Only serve Me with undivided love and devotion that one can know Me as I am, and so in truth, see Me. Thus, and only thus, will we be able to unravel the mystery of My Person.

In truth, it is to serve Krishna, God, the Supreme Person that the living being was created.

The living being, the soul embodied in a human body, animal and plant, belongs in reality to the internal energy of Lord Krishna and He is therefore also identical and of the same nature, but he never equals or surpasses it.

God and other spiritual beings all have their own individuality. Spirit beings distinct from God may also, with the aid of material energy, exercise some creative power, but none of their creations will equal or surpass those of the Supreme Lord.

There are only unreasonable, insane, ignorant minds to claim to be one with God, and thus to be led astray by illusory energy. In their straying, they have no other recourse than to recognize the supremacy of the Lord and to engage voluntarily in his loving service, for that is how they were created to act. If they do not return to this original natural duty, the world will not be able to experience peace and quiet.

The true devotees of Krishna, God, the Supreme Person are the true friends of all living beings, human beings, animals and plants. They love them all, without exception, with unconditional love, and make a point of protecting them as God recommends.

Disobedience to God, the rejection of his laws, his word and his teaching are at the root of the deterioration and degeneration of human civilization.

I end this luminous teaching of Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, with an extract from the book "Prophecies", relating to the reasons for the deterioration and degeneration of human civilization.

In the book "Prophecies", we learn that disobedience to God, the rejection of his laws, his word and his teaching are at the root of the deterioration and degeneration of human civilization.

We have entered the age of Kali, the current age, also called the iron age, the black age or the dark age, the age of discord, hypocrisy, strife, indifference, decadence and sin.

In truth, the age of kali begins with the killing of terrestrial and aquatic animals in slaughterhouses, fish ponds, aquaculture, in the open sea and elsewhere, and with the consumption of meat, fish and eggs. That is why, if we want to avoid the influence of this age of kali, this dark age, we have to get rid of these bad habits.

The kali age or the dark age has four poisons.

The first is the consumption of meat, fish and eggs, represented by slaughterhouse sacrificers, butchers and fishmongers, who are the friends of kali. The second is the producer of alcoholic beverages. The third is the gambler or owner of gambling houses, and the fourth is the patron of brothels.

The prophecies of the great sage Sukadeva Gosvami deal with the current age, the age of kali or the iron age, the dark age, which begins around the year 3000 BC, and lasts for 432,000 years. Prophecies relating to the fallen kings of the earth who will be born during this dark age, the fall of men and the many faults which will be committed.

All the good qualities of man gradually deteriorate, and his vices increase proportionately. Various atheistic “religions” are emerging, replacing Vedic spirituality [of the Vedas, the original scriptures]. Kings look like highwaymen, people engage in vile professions, and upper social classes disappear. Atheism, meaninglessness of all things, devotion to stomach and genitals are very evident in this age of kali. Beings defiled by his influence no longer worship the Supreme Lord, God, although the chanting of his Holy Names and his refuge can free them from all bondage and allow them to reach the supreme destination.

We all need to initiate our family members into the importance of this pure way of living without sin.
