Human life is an opportunity to take refuge with a spiritual master, an authentic servant of God, and through him to take refuge with the Supreme Lord. The true mission of the life of the individual soul incarnated and conditioned by matter, which each of us is, is to re-establish his forgotten relationship with God, the Supreme Person, and to practice devotional service so as to regain his consciousness of God after leaving his body. The nature of man's occupation is of no importance whatsoever; if only he succeeds in satisfying the Supreme Lord, then his existence is crowned with success.

The material universe is created to give incarnated souls conditioned by matter the opportunity to return to the kingdom of God, but most of them do not take advantage of this opportunity.

The Lord recommends: “Overcome the three attributes and modes of influence of material nature; virtue, passion and ignorance, which are the primary object of the original holy scriptures. Free yourself from duality, abandon all desire for possession and material security, and be firmly united with the Supreme”.

The true principle of religion is to abandon oneself to God and to love him, and the main concern of the human being must be to increase his attachment for God, the Supreme Person, as well as his love for Him.

Krishna, God, the Supreme Person encourages us in these terms: “When they have reached Me, the transcendentalists imbued with devotion, these noble souls, having thus risen to the highest perfection, never again return to this transitory world (the material universe) where suffering reigns”.

We must serve the Supreme Lord, Krishna, in a way that is pleasing to Him, with purely spiritual love and devotion. By abstaining from intermingling with motives of personal interest or intellectual speculation, and thus seeking some material reward. Such is pure service, perfect devotion, the sublime expression of love for God.

Our main concern must be to escape the cycle of repeated births and deaths, and to attain the supreme perfection of existence by living with the Supreme King, God, in the spiritual world. Whatever we do and whatever our occupation, our first objective must be to satisfy Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, to always please Him.

Human life, divided into stages, must be devoted to spiritual development.

According to spiritual principles, the first part of life must be devoted to the development of character and spiritual qualities. The emphasis must be on the spiritual sphere, not that of materialism, which distances the incarnate being from existential truth.

Then, the one who desires it can take a wife and beget children, but not as animals do, for indeed we must beget children who can fulfill the mission of Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, otherwise it is vain to procreate.
