To be blind in this particular case is, although living in the midst of other incarnate spiritual beings anchored in materialism, to see only the spiritual sphere of which Krishna is the essence and the base, and the divine signs, in order to guide humanity, to allow virtuous men to follow God, and unbelievers to benefit from the leniency of the Supreme Lord.

To be blind is to no longer see the dense matter around us, such as the bodies of matter, but only the spiritual beings, to see only them, and to be willing to guide them to Krishna, which will grant them salvation.

When men put Krishna’s directives into practice, then peace and harmony will reign on earth.

Death has been swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory?

O death, where is your sting?

The material universe in which man evolves is the world of forgetfulness, of which death is synonymous:

Forgetfulness of all data relating to God as He really is, of the existential and absolute truth, and of the spiritual world.

Forgetfulness of the bond that unites us with God, of the loving relationship that we exchanged with Him at the beginning of all things.

Of forgetting our true identity as a spiritual entity, or spiritual soul.

Of forgetting our past, our place of origin, and our various previous incarnations.

Of forgetting the body we had in our last life, because it is the body that plunges the soul into the oblivion of everything.

To change one's body, that is death.

We are questioning ourselves about the reason for our current existence, eager as we are to get out of this ignorance, in order to know our future. Those who turn to God or his intimate servant, the authentic spiritual master, will have all the answers. They will come out of oblivion, for them death will be no more.

In truth, the purpose of life is to seek God, in order to know him as he really is, to learn to love him, to obey him, to do his will, to unite our desires and interests to his, to surrender ourselves to him, and to serve him with love and devotion.

All who understand these truths will find their lives changed. The Lord, by his divine grace, will put an end to all their suffering. They will pass from death to eternal life, because for them death will be no more.
