Krishna, God, the Supreme Sovereign Person has given man a body whose form is identical to His own. The form of Lord Krishna is wholly and purely spiritual, unspeakably beautiful, all of absolute knowledge, most perfect bliss, complete truth, sublime reality, infinite, absolute and eternal.
Krishna, the Supreme Eternal said of Him: “My spiritual and absolute body resembles in all respects the human form, but it is not a material body. He is inconceivable (this is why he is never subject to hunger, thirst, fatigue, and has no luck). I am not compelled by nature to accept any particular type of body, it is of My own free will that I choose the form in which I appear. My heart is also spiritual, and I am always full of benevolence towards My devotees. So one can discover in My heart the way of devotional service, intended for holy beings, while I have rejected irreligion and non-devotional activities, they exert no attraction on Me. Because of all these divine attributes, prayers are generally addressed to Me under the name of Rsabhadeva, the Sovereign Lord, the best of all living beings”.
Krishna comes to earth at regular intervals, in order to protect his devotees, annihilate demonic disbelievers and restore spirituality. During his stay in Vrindavana, a region of India and a replica of the kingdom of God, he developed sublime entertainment, and took the opportunity to spread his sublime teaching. Krishna descended from his kingdom with his celestial entourage, including his first plenary emanation, Balarama, who plays the role of elder brother there.
Walking through the forest of Vrindavana and addressing his elder brother Balarama, Krishna said, “Dear Brother, of all of us you are the first, and your lotus feet are the object of worship of the celestial beings. Look at these trees, rich in fruit, that have bent over to worship your lotus feet. They seem to be trying to break through the darkness that forces them to take the shape of a tree. In truth, the trees that grow on the land of Vrindavana are not ordinary beings. Because in their previous life they supported the impersonal doctrine, now they have to undergo this frozen condition. But now is their chance to see you in Vrindavana, and they pray to advance even further along the path of spiritual life in contact with your Person. Trees are usually counted among beings that bathe in the darkness of ignorance. Impersonal philosophers also live in this darkness, but now those of them who have taken the form of a tree on this blessed earth are dispelling them, taking full advantage of your presence. Though they are trees and animals, these inhabitants of Vrindavana proclaim your glories. They are ready for you their best welcome, as do the great souls receiving other great souls. As for the earth, how pious it must be and how fortunate it must be for your lotus-like feet to imprint its body”.
The impersonalist doctrine must be absolutely rejected, for it leads the incarnated soul to perdition and perpetual suffering.
