The Science of God, or Science of Salvation

Human life is an opportunity to take refuge with a spiritual master, an authentic servant of God, and through him to take refuge with the Supreme Lord. The true mission of the life of the individual soul incarnate and conditioned by matter, which each of us is, is to re-establish his forgotten relationship with God, the Supreme Person, and to practice devotional service so as to regain his consciousness of God after leaving his body. The nature of man’s occupation is of no importance; if only he succeeds in satisfying the Supreme Lord, then his existence is crowned with success.

The material universe is created to give embodied and matter-conditioned souls the opportunity to return to the kingdom of God, but most of them do not take advantage of this opportunity.

The Lord advises us: “Overcome the three attributes and modes of influence of material nature; virtue, passion and ignorance, which are the primary object of the original holy scriptures. Free yourself from duality, give up all desire for material possession and security, be firmly united with the Supreme.”

The real principle of religion is surrender to and love of God, and the main concern of the human being should be to increase his attachment to God, the Supreme Person, and his love for Him.

Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, encourages us in these words: “When they have attained Me, the devotional transcendentalists, those noble souls, having thus ascended to the highest perfection, never again return to this transient world (the material universe) where suffering reigns.”

We must serve the Supreme Lord, Krishna, in a way that is pleasing to Him, with purely spiritual love and devotion, refraining from intermingling with motives that are of personal interest or intellectual speculation, and to seek some material reward. Such is pure service, perfect devotion, the sublime expression of love for God.

Our main concern must be to escape the cycle of repeated births and deaths, and to attain the supreme perfection of existence by living with the Supreme King, God, Krishna, in the spiritual world. Whatever we do and whatever our occupation, our first objective must be to satisfy Krishna, God, the Supreme Person, to always please Him.

This pure, luminous and saving knowledge, Lord Krishna offers it to us in his book “The words Of Krishna, Christ, God, The Supreme Being”.
